Kim Siang recently took part in the Muon Beam Physics and Applications Workshop hosted at the newly built Huizhou campus of the Institute of Modern Physics (IMP), Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS), from Jun 19 to 20. During the workshop, Kim Siang showcased his innovative concept, the High-Repetition-Rate Pulsed Muon Source, which is based on the Shanghai Hard X-ray Free Electron Laser Facility (SHINE). This opportunity to visit the state-of-the-art campus of IMPCAS, along with the developing facility site, made the trip an enlightening and enjoyable experience.
