She earned her Ph.D. from Imperial College London, where her thesis <em>&#8220;Measurement of Neutrino Oscillation Parameters at T2K Using Novel Neutral Current Pion Samples and Projected Sensitivities for Hyper-Kamiokande&#8221;<\/em> advanced experimental neutrino physics. At TRIDENT, Dr. Zhu leads the design and construction of the Phase-I calibration string system. He began his research career as an undergraduate at SJTU, where his thesis &#8220;Characterization of Photomultipliers for TRIDENT Experiments&#8221; laid the foundation for his current role &#8212; leading the large-scale PMT testing program. As a member of TRIDET, she lead the development of an updated camera system for in-situ calibration of water optical properties in 2024. Currently, Yingwei is analyzing data from the recent sea trials while maintaining a strong research focus on dark matter detection. He conducted optical calibration for the neutrino telescope, and constructed an LEM DOM from ground up. Currently he is analyzing sea-trail data. Her work on the &#8220;Radioactive Background of the TRIDENT Glass Sphere Module&#8221; established baseline measurements for the DOM&#8217;s background.
