After earning my PhD in 2015 from Heidelberg University and MPIA (Germany), where I modeled terrestrial astronomical events (mass extinctions, ice ages, etc.), I transitioned to exoplanet detection. My postdoc at the University of Hertfordshire (UK) focused on radial velocity (RV) methods, followed by astrometric exoplanet research at Carnegie DTM (USA). Since joining TDLI in 2020, I\u2019ve built a group specializing in high-precision and multi-technique detection and characterization of exoplanets, black holes and gravitational waves.
